With over 20 years of experience in the entertainment industry Kimberly Crandall has been bringing stories to life as a successful on-camera film and television actor and as an acting teacher/coach in Los Angeles and the southeast.  She is a proud member of The Television Academy,  SAG-AFTRA, and the Audio Publishers Association.

 

Kimberly is best known for her recurring role in all six seasons of the hit ABC comedy Fresh Off The Boat. Some of Kimberly’s notable film work includes JAMES FRANCO'S In Dubious Battle, The Bachelors with Oscar winner JK SIMMONS, An Actor Prepares with Oscar winner JEREMY IRONS, and Thomas, an independent film that screened at the CANNES FILM FESTIVAL. She has also appeared on many television shows such as Scandal, Criminal Minds, Better Things, Gossip Girl, Rush Hour, Matador, The Inspectors, South of Hell, 90210, ER, The Young & The Restless and Passions.

As a small business owner of the noted acting school ACTORSITE (a staple in the entertainment industry in Los Angeles), Kimberly has been an acting teacher & coach to kid, teen and adult actors since 2000.  She has been seen teaching/coaching on Access Hollywood, The Today Show, Showbiz Mom's & Dad's, and Oprah.  She is also featured in the book Acting Is Everything by Judy Kerr. Her students have appeared in numerous television shows (on Netflix, ABC, NBC, FOX etc…), major block busters (in Marvel & DC films etc…), and on Broadway (The Lion King, Billy Elliot…).  ​​

Kimberly works with students all over the U.S. and Canada, as well as internationally with actors in the U.K., Europe, Australia, South America.  She has been a guest teacher of the Los Angeles acting program for Columbia College of Chicago for many years. Her main goal is to educate and empower by guiding actors to reach their fullest potential instilling the necessary tools AND confidence for them to persevere and shine.

When not performing or teaching, Kimberly enjoys traveling (especially to France), gardening, and the occasional spirited game of Scrabble with her fiancé.  Her idea of bliss is relaxing with a delicious Mocha Cappuccino, a good book, and her beloved kitty and pooch by her side.
